Welcome to The Horseshoe Inn, Mamhilad
The Horseshoe was acquired by Artizan Leisure in February 2006
with a vision of providing the finest real ale, great value quality
wines and the best food using individually selected local produce.
At the Horseshoe we want you to eat, drink and relax in sumptuous
surroundings with roaring fires, cosy armchairs and informal dining
rooms.
The kitchen team is lead by Kurt Flemming, who until recently was
Head Chef at the award winning Bell Inn at Skenfrith and member
of the Wales Culinary Olympic team, whose aim is to take the best
ingredients and make them taste as good as possible. Consistency
and evolution are our watchwords, as you will discover through our
ever changing menus, wine lists and guest ales.
We also have a number of en-suite guest rooms for when the wine
is far too tempting for the drive home. You can enjoy a sumptuous
Welsh breakfast of locally cured back bacon, hand made pork and
leek sausages, traditional Penclawdd laver bread then walk it off
with an exhilarating stroll across the Brecon Beacons. |
